Riverhead is the place to be this Saturday afternoon as our Snails play the final senior rugby game of the season in the Presidents grade finals day. They will be kicking off against the Takapuna Turtles at 3pm. SENIOR PRIZEGIVING 2023 Get ready for the big day as we're well underway with preparations for the upcoming prizegiving, scheduled for Saturday, 2nd September. Trophies have already been taken to the engravers, invitations are in the process of being sent out, and various other arrangements are being made to ensure a fantastic event. To make sure we have enough catering for everyone, we kindly request that senior players inform their team managers about their attendance and whether they'll be accompanied by their partners. Your timely response will help us ensure a smooth and enjoyable prizegiving celebration. Unfortunately, the Senior Touch Rugby season for this year cannot proceed as initially intended. This decision comes from the notification that the council has arranged essential maintenance on three out of our four fields for the entirety of the summer season. Consequently, it is sadly unfeasible for us to hold the touch rugby sessions during this time. We extend our apologies for any disruptions this might cause and anticipate recommencing touch rugby towards the end of 2024, once the field work has been completed. |
