Jon Copeland is the Club Manager's Legend of the Week.

The fact that he is most comfortable in a "budgie smuggler" at the surf-club should not detract from his suitability of this prestigious award.

When not being Chairman of Orewa Surf Club and handling their Multi-Million dollar rebuild and dealing with a large club and its dramas, then Jon can be found Coaching multiple Rugby Teams, supporting Myka (his long-suffering partner) and the Junior committee and attending Club Fund Raisers.

Specifically this week, Jon helped out at Junior Prize-giving, but the award is over due for his Building skills in refurbishing the Managers office, saving the club thousands of dollars!
 
He knows many, many people but anyone that doesn't know his history, Jon has played in EVERY team possible at Silverdale (except 85's as he is big fella)- jnrs, u21s, Prems. He has coached for over 10 years and currently operates in the Womens u18 space.
