2025 - Cook - Chef - Kitchen Manager -Part time


Silverdale Rugby has an "A" rated kitchen facility but not enough experience to "staff it" in a manner that befits our busy venue.

We currenly offer a basic sports club style menu of Burgers, Fries etc. We are wanting to expand that to offer family  and team "meals" on Thursday and Friday nights and Saturday afternoon / evening through our season.

We are keen to talk to interested parties who could manage our kitchen, order and control stock, prepare match day meals and run our basic menu. 

There are opportunities for a candidate to do in-house Event catering, for the many functions that we currently outsource to private operators.

We are happy to consider basic packages and incentive based remuneration packages.

Times: Thursday Evening - 6-8pm, Friday 6pm-8pm Saturday 12pm-8pm. We appreciate there wiull be more time needed to do things such as cleaning, ordering, training and prepping, as well as potentially helpiong us to advertise and market the new offering on social media. 

Spec: Candidate should be flexible, positive and importantly able to cook food for large numbers of people as well as being able Open, Shut and Clean a limited kitchen. They should be able to work Student helper that we have or bring their own staff if needs require. 

Time Frame: Operate from March to Sept - 10-20hours a week
