A message from North Harbour Rugby Referees Association:

As you all know we can't have a game without someone picking up a whistle and going out in the middle with your teams and players. North Harbour Rugby Referees are looking for more members for the 2025 season and beyond to ensure your teams are able to get the games they want, from J1/2 through to Presidents. But to do that we also need your help.

In your Junior Clubs you will have outstanding Associate Referees, or at the Senior level players who can't play contact anymore but who want to remain in the game. Refereeing with NHRRA gives them an opportunity to take their rugby to the next level. So can you please help by talking to those who you identify as having the potential or sending the call out across your membership.

On Monday 24 February at 7pm, we are holding an Information Evening for new referees at Harbour's offices in the Stadium. This is for those who are interested in taking up the whistle or taking their current refereeing to the next level, either way that is good for your club. We will let them know what it is like to take the next step, the training and coaching they will receive and the kit they will be given.
